Guided tours are arranged during most of the summer season of King Erik XIV’s prison, the castle park and the carriage museum. Guided tours are by request (see booking below) or at the following times.

26 Jun-5 Aug Tuesday-Sunday 1PM and 3PM
11 Aug-9 Sept Saturday-Sunday 1PM
The castle is closed on Mondays and for the midsummer weekend 22-24th of June 2018.
You can pay the visits by cash or by swish.
Adults: 60 SEK
Children (12-16 years): 25 SEK
Children under 12 are free!
You are also free walk around the park and admire the beautiful scenery and fascinating buildings (optional fee: 10 SEK / person). Why not take the opportunity to have a picnic on the lawn by lake Vendel?

Directions to the castle
By car from Uppsala
E4 north, about 30 km. Follow the sign to Örbyhus, then continue for about 12 km until you see the sign for Örbyhus Slott.
By car from Gävle
E4 south, just over 65 km. Follow the sign to Örbyhus, then continue for about 12 km until you see the sign for Örbyhus Slott.
By train or bus
There are frequent trains connecting Örbyhus northwards to Tobo, Tierp and Gävle, and southwards to Skyttorp, Vattholma, Storvreta, Uppsala and down to Upplands Väsby.
Buses come here from Österbybruk, Östhammar and Öregrund to the east.
From the north, buses arrive from Tierp via Tobo, and from the south, take the bus in Uppsala.
